The 2026 Annual Convention of the International Association for Gondwana Research (IAGR), the 23rd International Conference on Gondwana to Asia and the International Conference on Tectonics of South East Asia (ICTSEA 2026) will be held onsite at Chiang Mai University in Chiang Mai, Thailand, from Wednesday, November 11, to Sunday, November 15, 2026.
        The Department of Geological Sciences, Faculty of Science, Chiang Mai University and the IAGR cordially invite you to participate in this important international conference, which will cover state-of-the-art research on all topics related to the solid Earth, particularly regarding the origin and evolution of continents, continental assemblies, and their environments and resources.
        The conference sessions will run for two days on November 12-13, 2026, at Kantary Hills Hotel, Chiang Mai, with an ice-breaker session on the evening of November 11. We are also planning a two-day post-conference field trip on November 14-15, 2026.
        The IAGR annual conventions and Gondwana to Asia international conference series provide an excellent platform for dissemination of new research results and exchange of scientific knowledge on geodynamics and tectonics, metallogeny, life evolution and paleoenvironment, geoenergy and future sustainability, sustainable resources and geoengineering, natural hazards, and geoheritage research. The annual conventions of IAGR have high reputation as venues for the advancement of science, and one of the best platforms for interaction with renowned geoscientists.
